Vitalant is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support our Payroll group with analysis and reporting on various projects. This role involves assisting with end-to-end support for our legacy Payroll Processing System, serving as the backup payroll processor to the Payroll Specialist, and learning current payroll processes. The analyst will identify opportunities for enhancing payroll delivery and play a key role in the setup, design, and testing for the implementation of a new Workday ERP system for payroll. As a Payroll Financial Analyst you’ll get to:

Partner with Payroll Director to develop and analyze best in class payroll processing.Provide bi-weekly deviation analysis on payroll process.Work with Payroll Director to accurately complete all required deliverables (monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc)Provide backup support to payroll specialist as needed.Completes monthly close accruals and review of financials for completeness and accuracy.Assist with payroll account reconciliations as needed.Communicate effectively with both Corporate and Division Leadership and Management.  

Knowledge/Education:

 

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required  

Knowledge of payroll processing and payroll system configuration required

Knowledge of business concepts required

Knowledge of payroll function required

 

 

Experience

Two or more years of relevant payroll experience required.

Experience working in Payroll Systems required.

Workday implementation experience preferred.
