This position will be responsible for the Pay & Time functional expertise, within the HR Direct Service Center. The roles perform analysis, and data entry of specific cases impacting transactions in the payroll system. This involves cross system analysis, and issue resolution to determine the data changes that require to be entered to ensure accurate pay. Results are reviewed with Payroll Services as well as Shared Center Leads to reconcile the record for appropriate pay and work in tandem with the Payroll Services Group to ensure payroll is processed appropriately for the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

Provides process and functional expertise for maintaining the Global View payroll employee dataWorks closely with the Payroll Services Group & HRDSC on overall payroll processingProcesses spreadsheet loader (SSL’s)updates for mass updates to GV for non-Workday compensation and allowancesProcesses date entry or SSL’s for pay impacting issues requiring manual adjustmentsEnter all master data and payroll data required for JP Morgan for immediate check processCorrect overpayments and under payments where required by direct input to the Global View systemProvide support and ensure timely entry of data for payroll cyclesProvide support to broader HRSC with payroll functional expertiseSupport special projects impacting payroll as needed (harmonization, frequency changes etc)Supports the year-end processesAnalyzes implications of pre go live retro-active payroll adjustments and makes necessary updates in the systemMakes necessary updates to GV to support the CTP payments (cost centers, payments etc)Supporting ongoing data audit processEnsure payroll processes are executed in a compliant manner

Job Requirements:

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field.

Experience and skills

Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of US payroll administration experienceExperience in using / managing ADP GlobalView and ADP eTime is strongly preferredWorking knowledge of end-to-end payroll procedures and other pay-impacting processes is strongly preferredWorking knowledge of year-end, payroll close, GL reconciliation recalls, reversals and overpaymentsWorking knowledge of HR policies, practices, and procedures is preferredStrong knowledge of Human Resources regulatory and statutory requirements desirableAbility to work with confidential and sensitive materialAble to work with a high degree of accuracy, often in time-critical situationsEffective communication skills to work with all levels of employees to explain programs and resolve problemsKnowledge of or experience in call center or shared services environment desirableKnowledge of or experience in teaming with other sectors of a business is desirableExperience working with third party vendors / outsourcers desirableExperience working with HR information systems / technology applications desirableStrong communication skills (verbal and written) with a focus on client service Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail Demonstrates good judgment and decision-making abilities Displays strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a focus on acting honestly and professionally Results-oriented, adaptable, and proficient in English language skills.
