Payroll & HRIS Technology Manager

How you'll make an impact • Experience in a variety of Payroll & HRIS systems preferred • Experience with payroll taxes and quarterly/ annual reconciliations, with the ability to troubleshoot issues resulting in root cause identification • Experience in thoroughly researching and resolving tax agency notices • Knowledge of setting up state income, state unemployment, and local jurisdiction profiles for payroll utilization • Knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations. • Ability to provide payroll tax compliance assistance, guidance, and best practices • Ability to effectively build and maintain client relationships in a customer-centric environment • Ability to work in a virtual team environment or autonomously completing tasks accurately and efficiently to manage all client and vendor relationships • Professional and effective communication skills • Flexible work schedule to meet the demands of assigned clients • Proficiency in Excel, including creating formulas and Pivot Tables and the use of VLOOKUP About You • Previous experience in project management of implementations and other payroll/HRIS projects • Ability to develop and execute a project plan • Preferred experience with any major payroll/HRIS platform (e.g. ADP, Ceridian, Paychex, Paycom, Paycor, Paylocity, Rippling, UKG, or Workday) • Proficiency in Excel, including creating formulas, Pivot Tables, and the use of VLOOKUP • Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and the ability to operate in a highly confidential setting • Experience with payroll taxes and quarterly/annual reconciliations with the ability to troubleshoot issues resulting in root cause identification
