This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual within the RTX Enterprise Services – Controllership Payroll Accounting Team. This organization offers opportunity for this individual to be part of a growing accounting department and develop processes to sustain flexibility as business needs change. Job responsibilities are subject to change based upon alignment of processes within this developing organization.
What You Will Do
Monthly journal entries, closing activities, and account reconciliations related to various Raytheon and/or Corporate accounts.Liability account reconciliations.Rate variance research and posting.Auditing and correcting transfer entries.Support month-end and year-end close processes.Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation.Maintain accurate and organized financial records.Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and controls.Perform other duties as assigned by senior accountants and management.Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field1+ years of experience working with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirementsQualifications We Prefer
Ability to work independently as well as in a teamAbility to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organizationAnalytical, planning and organizational skills to problem solve and recommend comprehensive solutionsProven experience in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.Ability to maintain a service-oriented demeanor with professionalism in sensitive and challenging situations.What We Offer

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
