Payroll Manager, Italy

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Payroll Manager to join our EMEA Payroll Management team, based in Seregno. 
In this role, you will oversee and handle the payroll processes for our Italian employees, ensuring that all compensation is accurately processed in accordance with Italian labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies. 
You will collaborate closely with the HR team, Finance, and other departments to provide seamless payroll services and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Payroll Processing: Oversee the preparation, processing, and distribution of monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies, and country and government regulations. Compliance: Ensure payroll practices comply with country and local regulations, including tax reporting, wage and hour laws, and record-keeping requirements. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor payroll staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development. Conduct regular performance reviews and address any issues that arise. Reporting & Audits: Prepare and review payroll reports, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and leave balances. Lead payroll-related audits and work with internal and external auditors as needed. Collaboration: Work closely with HR, HRIS, Finance, Digital HCM and other departments to coordinate payroll-related activities, such as benefits, bonuses, and year-end reporting. Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries regarding payroll matters. Manages relationships with Payroll Vendors, and follows up on Vendor performance. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve payroll processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee satisfaction. Implement best practices and stay updated on industry trends and changes in payroll laws. Participates in the development and execution of the Payroll Operations key objectives and SLAs. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing payroll budgets and forecasts. Monitor payroll expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.

For this Role, You will Need:

Bachelor’s degree in a Human Resources, Payroll, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience A minimum of 3 years working in a supervisory role leading a team that works in a customer service or operational support function A minimum of ten years of related work experience, preferably in a high volume, national payroll environment to include an understanding of the entire payroll process English proficiency- spoken and written
  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Experience with Oracle or ADP applications preferred Experience with payroll conversions preferred
