Kimley-Horn is looking for a Payroll Manager to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina (NC)! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities Work with employees at all levels across the firmInvolved in a variety of Payroll functions including:Oversee all aspects of payroll processing ensuring compliance with international, federal, state and local regulationsEnsure compliance, stay up to date with federal, state and local payroll laws and regulationsManage payroll teamContinuously review and improve payroll processes to ensure efficiency and accuracyCollaborate with Finance to provide year end workpapers and budget informationReview general ledger to payroll reconciliationsVendor managementWorker’s Compensation Audit – annual estimate and run annual audit Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance or related field preferredKnowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations; Global payroll knowledge a plusCertified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plusProven experience as a Payroll Manager with 8+ years in payroll fieldExperience with the following is preferred: databases and reporting; payroll software; and multi-state tax (UKG Pro and Business Intelligence reporting preferred)Experience with Microsoft Office, technically proficient with ExcelStrong leadership skills managing a teamStrong interpersonal skills and client service mentalityHigh degree of professionalism with demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information and maintain strict confidentialityExcellent organization, detail-orientation, and follow-through skills Why Kimley-Horn?
