We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner - Payroll Manager to oversee and manage payroll functions while partnering with the business to provide strategic HR support. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate payroll processing while driving employee engagement, compliance, and operational efficiency Responsibilities Payroll Management: Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local labor laws and regulations. Manage payroll systems, updates, and integrations for efficiency and accuracy. Address payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies effectively. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as tax filings, benefits, and government-mandated contributions (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR). Develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures to align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. HR Business Partnering: Act as a strategic HR partner to business leaders, providing guidance on workforce planning, employee relations, and HR strategies. Collaborate with management to align HR initiatives with business objectives. Analyze HR metrics and payroll data to provide actionable insights to support decision-making. Foster employee engagement and retention through effective HR programs and interventions. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with all labor laws and HR policies in payroll and employee practices. Prepare and submit required payroll-related reports to government agencies and internal stakeholders. Conduct audits to identify and resolve payroll or compliance issues. Team Management: Lead and develop a payroll team, providing coaching, training, and performance management. Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to improve processes and maintain data integrity. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in payroll management, with at least 2 years in an HR Business Partnering role. Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory compliance. Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, or local payroll platforms) and Google Suite, especially Google Sheets. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively partner with leadership and employees. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field. Familiarity with accounting or financial data reporting is an advantage but not required. Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
