Responsibilities + Supervise all payroll responsibilities + Set up payroll tax + Manage system enhancement and upgrade projects + Manage full-cycle payroll processing + Audit weekly and monthly reports + Ensure payroll policies and procedures are followed + Run payroll in a timely manner + Monitor payroll and audit for accuracy + Resolve discrepancies + Develop metrics and set goals for department staff + Assist in the training and development of payroll team mem Requirements • Proficiency in using UKG Pro software for payroll processing • Expertise in handling multi-state payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payments • Knowledge of local payroll tax regulations and their application in payroll calculations • Ability to manage multistate payroll, taking into account the specific regulations of each state • Experience with payroll garnishments, understanding legal requirements and implications • Comprehensive understanding of all payroll functions including deductions, benefits, and overtime calculations • Familiarity with payroll law and its implications on payroll processing and employee rights • Ability to process biweekly payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time • Experience in handling bi-weekly payroll, catering to different pay schedules within the organization • Proficiency in overall payroll processing, including data entry, verification, and distribution • Ability to reconcile payroll, ensuring all payments and deductions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
