Payroll Master Data Officer - BSC DSP

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Master Data Officer to join our team based at our North Ryde, Sydney office. This is a permanent role with a hybrid work arrangement.

Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate setup and maintenance of employee records for all Downer employees. This includes processing new hires, employee transfers, and updates to employee details.

The role requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve payroll issues raised through the Customer Support System, along with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to ensure desirable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Work as part of a cohesive team to meet all required deadlines and service levels outlined in the Service Level Agreements. Perform weekly and fortnightly maintenance of filing and storage of documentation via secure digital channels. Administer and enter records into the relevant HRMS. Ensure data integrity through a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

What you will bring

Minimum 2 year’s experience in Financial Services / Operations/ Hire-to-Retire management, preferably in a large complex organisation operating in a fast paced, high-volume environment. Sound knowledge of payroll legislation and best practices applicable to the payroll function.  Exposure to multiple Enterprise Agreements (EAs) and high-volume payroll processing will be beneficial.  Experience in working within a Business Partnering model, with a strong track record of building effective relationships with internal stakeholders, such as Finance and Business Unit Operations.
