Role description: This position will assist the payroll manager and ensure payroll is processed accurately and to deadlines.   Role accountabilities: The main responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: Assistance for the full end-to-end payroll process in Australia, constituting approx. 800 Permanent employees and 200 casual employees Provide adequate backup to allow for absences of Payroll Manager, both planned and unforeseen Assistance with Payroll related general ledger activities, running financial reports, and assisting with month end processes Experience with Novated leases and assisting in the reconciliation monthly Knowledge and input for payroll related balance sheet reconciliations Experience in implementing salary sacrifice arrangements Assistance to prepare and lodge statutory returns, and ABS requirements Implementing best practice and standardisation of process and procedures Interaction with the business in aspects related to Payroll matters Performing other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by your manager or Arcadis Ensuring you are familiar and compliant with Health and Safety regulations and guidelines. Qualifications & Experience:  Extensive previous working knowledge of Sage MicroPay Demonstrated past experience in a similar Australian payroll position, preferably in a professional services environment Current knowledge and understanding of legislation relating to payroll e.g. Single touch payroll Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail Good communication skills Why Arcadis?
