POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Manager, Payroll Shared Services is in-charge of the overall management, and accountability of all payroll functions in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation for multiple properties under shared services function.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manages the accurate and timely administration, preparation, and processing of all payrolls in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and legislation.
2. Monitors and leads payroll processing function and ensures smooth and efficient workflows.
3. Ensures the accuracy of information held and that the integrity of data is maintained by regular audits.
4. Maintains and develops policies and procedures pertaining to local payroll processes, consistent with relevant legislations, regulations, and company policies.
5. Develops and ensures adherence to critical timelines for all regulatory and reporting requirements and performs monthly reporting for management purposes.
6. Collaborates with respective HR, Finance and Business Units of each location under shared services function to address any payroll-related needs or discrepancies.
7. Monitors and analyzes applicable metrics to optimize Payroll Shared Services Team productivity and operational efficiency.
8. Processes and ensures that entire payroll process adheres to the Company’s global payroll standards.
9. Ensures adherence to labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies to maintain compliance and minimize risk.
10. Conducts regular audits and assists and prepare for both internal and external audits by ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with reporting requirements.
11. Always safeguard the highest level of Payroll confidentiality across all payroll services functions.
12. Stay up to date on changes in statutory and tax laws for each shared services location and corroborate the organizational compliance.
13. Manages, coaches, and develops the Shared Services Payroll, and ensures achievement of departmental key performance objectives.

14. Conducts performance evaluations and provide coaching to help Payroll team members reach their full potential and ability.
15. Keeps abreast of shared services industry developments and legislative changes and make recommendations as necessary.
16. Achieves agreed objectives and timelines and accepts accountability for results.
17. Recommends and/or executes management policies to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, recall, discharge, re-assign, or discipline employees.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
1. Reporting timelines are always met with 100% accuracy.
2. Accurate and timely administration, preparation, processing, and transmission of payrolls.
3. Compliance with all regulatory, legislative, and global standard requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
I. Experience
At least 5 years of relevant shared services payroll experience at a senior level.
II. Education
Preferably a college graduate of an Accounting course or of a similar discipline
III. Skills / Competencies
1. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
2. Sound knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems
