Description and Requirements Position Description:Collaborate with Compensation, Finance, and HR/Payroll leaders on process and policy and execute the required equity plan activities by preparing the necessary journal entries, coordinating compliance, prepare monthly reconciliations, monthly/quarterly reports, and other reports/analysis pertaining to payroll and stock plan activitiesDevelop Relationships with key stake holders such as Payroll, Compensation, Finance, Tax consultants and Stock AdministratorsEnsures all participant equity plan transactions are correctly processed and settled in a timely manner; working closely with Payroll Operations, HR Teams and Finance to address any issues or changes to the equity plans or related administration processesEvaluate, recommend and implement process improvements for the administration of the company’s stock plansDemonstration leadership and professionalism as a key equity operations team member for LTI Equity plans and support the Share Shares (Lenovo’s - Employee Stock Purchase Plan) program.Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required to support country YE reporting processes to include: 1) Statutory filing as required in some countries, and 2) Coordination of transactions to be captured and reported as part of the tax year. Work closely with Payroll to provide equity income transactions (LTI) in a timely and accurate manner.Be customer focused and seek ways to make the process more user friendly for your customers every month and at Year End. Reconcile and Identify any tax difference and resolve these variances in a timely, efficient, and consistent manner ( Share adjustment, write off , etc) Develop training and educational programs for employees as needed Improve processes, efficiencies and accuracy of data Work with large data sets, perform data edits, audits, reconciliations, v-lookups and complex calculationsDevelop and maintain a “Playbook” of Tax Treatment for each country to be updated on an annual basis by collaborating with tax consultants and local teamsStay current on relevant regulatory, legal and other developments Ensure and maintain compliance with policies and internal controlsTasks included, but not limited to:Coordination of Awards with Compensation and Benefits Team and 3rd party Stock Administration service provider. This involves loading awards into our 3rd party Stock Administration team’s system with the correct data elements.Coordination of RSU Vesting, SAR Exercise, Mobility employees (EYGOES) and Share Purchase Programs with Payroll teams. This involves ensuring transactional data is passed to Payroll and then ensuring payroll is processing accordingly. Many countries also require maintenance tax tables to facilitate the appropriate Withholdings tax. This includes Tie Out and potential Share Adjustments or Write-Off as appropriate.Coordinating quarterly Black Out list process with Stock Administrator.New Share Purchase Plan Years; Enrollments , Vesting, Maintenance and tiered rate taxation upon where appropriate.Coordination of any required Year End or statutory reportingAnnual report disclosure of Senior Executive Equity holdingsPosition Requirements:1-3 years of work experience.Good communication and problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented and sensitive about figures.Good team collaborative skills.Be familiar with Microsoft Excel and PPT.Good English skills (IELTS> or = 6.5) .Bachler degree or above.
