Description Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our San Ramon-based FTEP team. In this role, you will handle payroll operations for multiple clients while maintaining compliance, accuracy, and efficiency. As a Full-Time Engagement Professional (FTEP), you will benefit from stable employment with Robert Half while working on diverse assignments with our clients. ** For immediate consideration, apply and contact Julian Sanchez on LinkedIn ** Key Responsibilities: + Process payroll transactions, including but not limited to employee hours, wages, deductions, and taxes. + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. + Maintain and update payroll records in accordance with company policies. + Resolve payroll discrepancies and partner with internal teams to ensure timely payments. + Prepare reports and summaries related to payroll activities. + Assist with client-specific projects as needed, showcasing flexibility and adaptability. Requirements Qualifications: + 2+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-state environment. + Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, or similar). + Familiarity with state and federal payroll laws, including tax guidelines. + Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail. + Ability to troubleshoot and solve payroll-related issues independently. + Strong communication skills for effectively interacting with clients and internal teams.
