Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team in San Diego, California. This part-time position is offered on a Contract to permanent basis, providing an excellent opportunity for growth. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in payroll processing and a strong understanding of ADP Workforce Now to ensure accurate and timely payroll operations. Responsibilities: • Prepare and submit all necessary documentation to facilitate payroll processing efficiently and on schedule. • Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll tasks with accuracy and attention to detail. • Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies. • Maintain up-to-date payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. • Generate and analyze payroll reports to provide insights and support decision-making. • Handle employee data updates, including changes in compensation, benefits, and other payroll-related information. • Ensure timely processing of deductions, taxes, and contributions in adherence to legal requirements. • Work closely with management to improve payroll processes and identify opportunities for optimization. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing. • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now is required. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Familiarity with payroll laws, regulations, and compliance standards. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively. • High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of payroll operations. • Solid communication skills to interact with team members and address inquiries. • Ability to adapt to evolving processes and systems in a dynamic environment.
