Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Job Description

Award winning general engineering contractor is seeking to add a dedicated and proactive Payroll Specialist to the team. This role involves processing high volume weekly union and non-union payroll using CMiC, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will be a key player in managing payroll data and supporting our employees with payroll-related inquiries.

ResponsibilitiesProcess high volume weekly union and non-union payroll using CMiC.Collect timesheets and all necessary paperwork to process timely payroll.Review and verify timesheets with employees and management personnel.Gather and compile data for union reports as well as monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.Process garnishments and new hire paperwork including I-9s, W-4s, etc.Assist employees with payroll-related questions and solve discrepancies when needed.Perform other tasks as assigned.Essential SkillsMinimum 2 years of payroll experience, processing high volume (800 employees)Proficiency in payroll processing and data entry.Experience with payroll tax, payroll accounting, and reconciliation.Strong knowledge of payroll software and Microsoft Excel.Additional Skills & QualificationsUnion payroll experience a plus but not required.Experience with construction industry payroll processing a plus.Knowledge of CMiC preferred but not required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new programs quickly.Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite in Dublin, CA, with work hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. You will be part of a collaborative team of four. Our company is committed to career growth, offering mentorship from industry-leading professionals in a supportive and professional setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $41.00/hr.
