Depending on Experience (DOE) Hours of Work: 7:00am to 3:30pm Location: 27402 72nd Ave S. Kent WA 98032. Job Scope: This job is comprised of routine work situations with some occasional variations. It requires meeting deadlines, a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. Needs problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Will work under moderate to high level of supervision. Job Summary: Responsible for generating, processing, and entering biweekly payroll data, auditing, calculating adjustments, and preparing various reports. Back up to salary and Canadian payrolls. Requirements to be Considered for the Position: 1. Application must be filled out completely by the applicant. 2. Pass a pre-employment drug screen. 3.. Meet all of the required essential job skills/experience. Required Essential Job Skills/Experience: 1. Prefer minimum of two years payroll experience. 2. Excellent data entry, 10 key skills, and math skills. 3. Computer literate with proficiency in Excel. 4. Ability to maintain confidentiality. 5. Ability to communicate effectively in English with a diverse workforce. 6. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. 7. Detail oriented. Required Essential Job Functions/Duties: 1. Balance employee time calculations and enter data into the computer daily. 2. Audit attendance daily for time and attendance. 3. Maintain database and files for payroll system. 4. Prepare and balance bi-weekly payroll reports. 5. Some benefits preparation. 6. Schedule payments of various deductions to appropriate agencies such as OSE, 401k, garnishments, etc. 7. Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing procedures. 8. Answer employee payroll questions. 9. Filing. 10. Additional tasks as requested by Payroll Manager. Desirable Job skills/Experience: 1. Experience with an automated time collection system. 2. Experience processing multiple bargaining units payroll for 200+ employees. 3.
