Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join our team in the Food Processing industry, based in Fresno, California. In this role, you will be managing our payroll functions, ensuring the correct and timely payment of payroll expenses and taxes, supervising our payroll team, and liaising with other professionals. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement systems to process payroll account transactions. • Oversee the coordination of timekeeping and payroll systems. • Manage the processing of payroll changes such as new hires, terminations, and raises. • Guarantee compliance with relevant laws and internal policies. • Collaborate with auditors and manage payroll tax audits. • Work closely with Human Resources and accounting teams. • Keep accurate records and prepare reports. • Resolve issues and respond to payroll-related questions.
