Payroll Specialist
Payroll Specialist  Role Summary  Our client is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their rapidly growing team. The main objective of this position is the timely and accurate administration of payroll processing using the Workday payroll processing software. This role reports directly to the Payroll and Talent Leader.  Key Results Area  + Process bi-weekly payrolls accurately and on time per the company’s established guidelines and standards  + Collect, input and verify all payroll data for processing, including new hires, terminations, commissions, incentives and benefits data from multiple remote locations nationwide.  + Review time keeping in Workday for all hourly employees. Flag discrepancies and issues.  Resolve these issues with management as needed  + Reconcile every payroll to ensure accuracy of totals  + Manage Vacation and Sick paid time off and answer any employee requests  + Reconcile payroll records and returns with OSV for accuracy  + Process transfers, promotions, changes, and make sure all payroll deductions are included for payroll processing  + Manage, research, and resolve employee payroll issues  + Run bi-weekly auditing reports for payroll processing and prepare reports including Overtime and Headcount  + Process unemployment claims, employment verifications, garnishment orders and other related payroll employee requests  + Process HR and Payroll related invoices  + Assist the team with other projects as needed  Skills & Qualifications  + Three years or more of experience in full cycle payroll processing in Workday is a MUST  + General knowledge of HR and benefits processing and administration  + Proficient computer and data entry skills  + Strong Knowledge of payroll law compliance and reporting requirements  + Multi-state taxation experience is required.  + Good analytical skills  + Ability to multi-task and achieve results in a fast-paced environment  + Knowledge of Federal and State wage and hour laws  + Must adhere to high level of ethical and confidentiality of information standards  + Strong Microsoft Excel skills and intermediate knowledge of MS Office and Outlook  + Must be extremely detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
