We are seeking a Payroll Specialist that prepares payroll data for input. Reviews and validates timekeeping records. Responds to inquiries from employees regarding deductions, calculations, and changes in compensation. Prepares, compiles, and maintains various statistical and payroll records to ensure programmed calculations in automated systems accurately.
Responsibilities:
Complete payroll functions in a timely manner & in full compliance with company policies & labor laws.
Review timecards and support any other processes needed to ensure accurate payroll processing.
Educate, train and assist employees with T&A system.
Support business-wide and payroll-specific initiatives around simplification and standardization.
Key employee direct deposits and process special payments such as meal allowances, bonuses, merit increases, and cash advances.
Reviews forms, templates and letters for compliance with regulations.
Liaise with third party payroll providers to resolve payroll challenges.
Review payroll registers for accuracy and completeness before payroll funding.
Process garnishments and court orders which include child support, tax levies, student loans, and wage assignments.
Manage multiple reports and provide to management as needed.
Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge and expertise in end-to-end payroll processes specific to the Middle East and Africa region, along with a solid understanding of market practices.
Bachelor's Degree holder
2–3 years of related work experience.
Willingness to work in a hybrid setup based at the BGC, Taguig site.
Availability for a mid-shift schedule.
