PAYROLL SPECIALIST
+ JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS + Job Summary : + The Payroll Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This position reports directly to the Payroll Supervisor and works closely with other HR and finance teams to maintain payroll records, resolve discrepancies, and assist in improving payroll processes. + Education : + Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. + Registration/Certification/Licensure : + Payroll certification preferred. + Experience : + Position requires a minimum of 2 years of recent payroll-related experience to include preparation and processing, preferably with ADP Workforce Now, KRONOS and UKG applications, or directly related accounting experience. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and intermediate knowledge of Excel is strongly desired. Knowledge of accounting processes related to general ledger reporting and auditing procedures and integrity. + Other Requirements : + Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements. + Ability to work independently, prioritize concurrent projects, meet deadlines, follow through with deliverables, and produce quality work. + Previous experience and demonstrated professionalism in effectively communicating with internal and external customers and in promoting a positive work atmosphere.
