Payroll Specialist

Overview We are seeking a full-time Payroll Specialist in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the administration of the payroll process, including transmission of bi-weekly payroll, data entry of associate information and associate maintenance activity, administration and setup in Kronos, analysis and preparation of reports for associate activity, and distribution of payroll checks. Essential Functions Assist with the transmission of bi-weekly payroll and processes needed to update the payroll system for accurate calculation of checks Assist with the entry/maintenance of associate information into ADP Payforce system Assist with administration and setup of associate and schedule information in the Kronos timekeeping system Assist with the process and post reimbursement payments including distribution of reimbursement checks Assist with the entry of payroll deduction information for associates Assist with processing time information recorded in Kronos interfaced to ADP, ensuring the accuracy of information including corrections of missed punches and exceptions Assist with posting of time off into associate records located in Kronos and perform audits to ensure accuracy of time off accruals/balances Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field OR a minimum of 3 years relevant experience Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule) Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others Must possess proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word and Excel Must possess a proven track record in performing roles which require being detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Excellent time management/follow-up skills and superior organizational/analytical skills with keen attention to detail/quality Must possess a demonstrated ability to work with sensitive information in a confidential manner Desired Qualifications Experience working with Kronos Workforce Central timekeeping system Experience working with an Oracle HR management system Garmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
