We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processes using ADP Workforce Now for a workforce of under 100 employees. You will be responsible for handling both exempt and non-exempt payroll, with the potential to manage multiple shifts and commissions. The role requires covering one pay period independently and one pay period alongside the current employee, who will be away for a few weeks.
Responsibilities
+ Manage semi-monthly payroll for a workforce of under 100 employees using ADP Workforce Now.
+ Handle payroll for both exempt and non-exempt employees.
+ Potentially manage multiple shifts and commissions.
+ Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
+ Coordinate with the current payroll employee to ensure a smooth transition during their absence.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
+ Knowledge of both exempt and non-exempt payroll processes.
+ 1-2 months of experience as a payroll clerk.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience managing payroll for multiple shifts.
+ Experience handling commissions.
Work Environment
You will work in a dynamic environment, covering one pay period alone and one pay period with the current employee. The role is from February 5 to March 11, with the possibility to start on February 3. The current payroll employee will be out of the country during this time frame.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
