Kforce has a client in El Segundo, CA that is seeking a Payroll Specialist. Responsibilities: * The Payroll Specialist will process multi-state U.S. payroll for up to 3,000 employees using ADP Workforce Now * Manage payroll data collection and audits through the Kronos/Dimensions timekeeping system, ensuring accuracy and compliance * Act as a subject matter expert on ADP, payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and garnishments * Serve as backup for all Payroll Team roles, supporting the Senior Payroll Manager as needed * Compute wages, overtime, payroll deductions, and process manual pay requests * Research, analyze, and resolve payroll-related inquiries while maintaining strict confidentiality * Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company policies regarding payroll, tax filings, and reporting * Assist with audits (internal/external) and reconciliation of quarterly and annual ADP tax filings * Process W-2Cs and amendments as necessary * The Payroll Specialist will maintain strong partnerships with HR and IT to ensure seamless system integration and accurate payroll operations * Continuously assess and improve payroll procedures for greater efficiency and effectiveness
