Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in the manufacturing industry, located in NOVI, Michigan, United States. In this role, you will be handling full cycle payroll operations using the ADP platform, while ensuring our employee records are meticulously maintained and inquiries are resolved promptly. Responsibilities: • Efficiently process payroll for all employees using the ADP platform • Ensure accuracy in all aspects of payroll processing • Promptly handle inquiries related to payroll from employees • Perform regular audits to verify the integrity and accuracy of payroll data • Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring all information is current and accurate • Assist in preparing reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, and non-taxable wages • Monitor all payroll transactions and reports for accuracy • Manage end-to-end payroll operations and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist in the manufacturing industry. • Proficiency in ADP - Payroll software is a must. • Extensive knowledge and experience with Full Cycle Payroll. • Strong understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws. • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail. • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. • Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. • High level of integrity and professionalism.
