Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Specialist to manage and process payroll and related comps for our organization. The Payroll Specialist will ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, compliance with relevant regulations, and maintain confidential payroll records. This role will work closely with the MedOps team and HR partners to ensure the smooth execution of all payroll-related tasks.
Responsibilities
Payroll Processing: Process payouts for all full-time employees and contractual workers, ensuring accuracy in hours worked, deductions, and other compensation-related data. Compliance: Ensure compliance with local payroll regulations, including tax laws and labor laws. Keep up to date with any changes in regulations and ensure payroll is processed accordingly. Payroll Records: Maintain and update accurate payroll records, including new hires, terminations, tax exemptions, garnishments, etc. Payroll Reporting: Generate and submit accurate payroll reports to management, including tax filings, benefit deductions, and other relevant reports. Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any payroll-related inquiries or issues from relievers, including discrepancies in pay or deductions. Tax Filings: Assist with preparation and submission of payroll tax filings, including quarterly and annual reports, W-2s, 1099s, 2307, and other tax-related documents. Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion and maintain a high level of integrity in all payroll-related matters. Timekeeping Systems: Maintain and support the company’s timekeeping system, ensuring accurate tracking of hours and attendance. Collaboration: Work closely with the MedOps team and HR partners to ensure all overtime, and deductions are accounted for accurately.
