Payroll Specialist

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Payroll Specialist at MKS, you assist the Payroll Manager and execute the payroll process for APAC.

You Will Make an Impact By:

Coordinating with HR, Compensation, Finance, and other players on APAC’s payroll issues including pay/compensation, time and attendance, benefits, bonuses, stock plan, etcProcessing payroll for all APAC’s salaried, hourly, and multi-state employees and leading Tax Year End activities for APAC’s payrollManaging payroll cases and collaborating with the team and various workstreams to resolve employee cases within the SLA timeframe and quality expectationsResponsible for all post payroll processing duties to ensure payroll processing is complete, for payroll operational controls, on time and in line with SOX controlsResponsible for identifying and driving process improvements across all payrolls and ensuring standardizationLead and be a single point of contact for APAC’s audit requestLeading any new implementation in the region, audit processes, and ensuring best practicesCollaborating with the team along with various workstreams and any relevant business partners

Skills You Bring:

A bachelor’s degree preferably in human resources/business or any relevant fieldsMinimum 2 years of APAC payroll experience, including Workday proficiencyAbility to effectively analyze large amounts of data and present key findings to managementStrong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAttention to details, completes transactions accurately and able to meet tight deadlinesHighly motivated, organized and ability to multitask, honest, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate excellently with colleagues, teams, and other functions
