Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Certified Payroll Specialist in the manufacturing industry, located in Webster, Texas. The workplace is 100% onsite, providing an active and engaging environment. Responsibilities: • Handle the processing of multi-state, certified payroll on a bi-weekly basis. • Update certified payroll job details in the ADP system regularly. • Oversee and maintain comprehensive reports and spreadsheets associated with payroll. • Ensure the payroll General Ledger reporting aligns with the chart of accounts. • Apply knowledge of Human Resources functions such as benefits, onboarding, and recruiting as needed. • Utilize Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Dayforce for various payroll and accounting functions. • Administer 401k - RRSP, using tools like About Time. • Perform auditing tasks related to payroll and benefits. • Execute benefit functions in coordination with the Human Resources department. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory. • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required. • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is essential. • Ability to work with Ceridian software is necessary. • Knowledge of Dayforce is expected. • Understanding of 401k - RRSP Administration is needed. • Must have experience with About Time software. • Capability to handle Accounting Functions is a must. • Auditing skills are essential. • Ability to manage Benefit Functions is required.
