As a Payroll Specialist at Qualis Corporation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance with company policies. Your responsibilities will include collecting payroll data, maintaining employee records, and collaborating with various departments to deliver timely and precise payroll services. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Essential Duties:
Collect and verify payroll-related information to ensure accuracy. Collaborate with Human Resources regarding employee status changes, including new hires and terminations. Process payroll in compliance with company policies, ensuring all deductions and garnishments are handled correctly. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and educate staff on related policies. Coordinate labor distribution processing with each payroll cycle and manage timecard corrections as needed. Generate necessary reports for the Accounting Department. Work closely with HR, Contracts, Program Control, and Billings departments. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all company policies.
