POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the coordination of payroll activities. Assists in the research and resolution of
payroll issues for all employees in assigned service centers. Notifies management of any
questionable practices or concerns.

Responsibilities  Responsible for coordinating payroll processes for assigned service centers. Verifies specific or
special items on the payroll preview for accuracy.Processes off-cycle Special Pay Requests. Follows department policy and ensures compliance with
all Federal and State laws for those payments. Makes sure that the payments are updated on the
payroll. Resolves payroll issues by researching problems and suggesting solutions. Processes all payroll for new hires and rehires, tax withholding changes, direct deposit
changes, pay group transfers, and various other tasks that must be completed at the corporate level. Runs all timecard and payroll reports Responsible for processing employee payroll deductions according to company policy and ensuring
we’re in compliance with the deduction laws of the states you’re responsible for. Troubleshoots PTO accrual and balance discrepancies brought to your attention by the service center
reps or management. Runs monthly PTO reports Communicates deadlines, processing reminders, process changes, and other items requested by
management. Processes and maintains wage garnishments for employees. Responds to interrogatories, sends
termination notices, and processes any other correspondence required by the agencies or corporate
policy. Responsible for processing overpayment calculations and letters, as well as for insuring repayment
is made and properly cleaned up in the payroll system. Assist with Fleet and Safety as needed Quality Assurance adminstration: address customer concerns in a timely and effective manor Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

HS diploma, or GED equivalent, and 1 – 3 years’ experience in HR and payroll administration are
required.Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and
experience may be substituted. Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office products. This job requires the ability to create and interpret spreadsheets and operate general office machines.
