monthly payroll for an independent group of employees as part of a shared service organization. The Payroll Specialist (m/f/d) will be available as a competent contact person for all payroll issues for the departments as well as for the employees and the works council.
The Payroll Specialist (m/f/d) is integrated into the HR organization and actively participates in the implementation of HR strategies. Furthermore, as part of the shared service team, the Payroll Specialist (m/f/d) works on the continuous improvement of processes and workflows within the payroll department. In doing so, the Payroll Specialist (m/f/d) will regularly work at both the Heidelberg site and the Kirchheimbolanden site (flexible/needs-based split).
Key Accountabilities:
Preparation of monthly payroll for a special group of employees (active employees and company pensioners) via SAPMaster data maintenance in a web-based HR information system (Workday) as well as in SAPIndependent processing of special payroll accounting cases (including garnishments, partial retirement)Preparation of statistics (internal and external) and certificatesCommunication with authorities and public agencies (e.g. health insurance companies, tax office, employment agency)Contact person for employees and executives in all matters concerning payroll accountingOn-site support of the HR teamParticipation in projects
