Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist I in MEMPHIS, Tennessee. This role is integral to our operations, handling the processing of payroll and addressing inquiries from team members. The Payroll Specialist I will also proactively address and resolve any emerging payroll issues. Responsibilities: • Efficiently and effectively handle employee payroll queries • Execute full cycle payroll processing tasks • Assist with unexpected payroll issues as they occur • Uphold professionalism and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information • Utilize payroll systems, such as Workday, in the execution of duties • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate payroll functions • Use ticketing systems to manage and track payroll inquiries and issues • Apply accounting functions knowledge to enhance payroll processing • Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity in all payroll activities. Requirements • Proven experience in Payroll and Finance is essential. • Familiarity with Payroll Functions is required. • Proficiency in using Ticketing System is desirable. • Ability to Process Payroll effectively and efficiently. • Experience with Workday software is a must. • Knowledge of Full Cycle Payroll is necessary. • Understanding of Accounting Functions is beneficial.
