Your role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll and Time Specialist to manage payroll data accuracy and processing in time and attendance systems. In this role, you will ensure the integrity of payroll data, answer employee queries, and collaborate with HR, IT, and external stakeholders. You will also drive process improvements, support audits, and mentor new team members during their onboarding process. This position offers opportunities for growth, and you will play a key role in optimizing payroll operations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll data, particularly related to time and attendance systems. You will focus on maintaining data integrity, ensuring all payroll processes comply with internal policies, and addressing payroll-related queries from employees, HR partners, and other stakeholders. Additionally, you will play a key role in driving process improvements, continuously seeking ways to optimize payroll functions. Collaborating with internal teams, including HR and IT, as well as external clients, will be essential for streamlining processes. You will also support audits by preparing documentation and explaining payroll data as needed, while mentoring new team members to ensure their smooth onboarding.
Who you are:
1–3 years of experience in an HR Shared Service Centre, preferably with German payroll knowledge.Fluent in German and English.Strong proficiency in SAP HR and MS Office, especially Excel.Understanding of payroll processes, with a focus on time and attendance and German labor law.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.Strong communication and teamwork skills in an international environment.Open to continuous improvement and adapting to new ideas.
