The Tom Wood Group, in Indianapolis, Indiana is currently searching for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of payroll processes and regulations. They will excel at maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance, and providing exceptional support to employees.
Responsibilities:
Process biweekly payroll & supplemental payrolls for more than 1,000 employees Process all payroll reporting after each transmittalSend out biweekly and supplemental payroll reports for various store locations Follow up with management teams on time & attendance functions as well as time off approvals on a weekly basis Administer garnishments and child support administration ADP reporting functions for Executive management, GM, Office Managers, and othersVerification on new hire information in ADP systemNew hire reporting to applicable statesHandle termination paperwork and maintain terminated employee files Other payroll duties as assignedQualifications:
3-5 years of payroll experience – prefer experience with ADP Workforce Now.Associates/undergraduate degree in HR, Business, Accounting or equivalent work experience in payroll area.Ability to partner across organizations including Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, IT, Senior Managers, and Employees. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. A high level of confidentiality/discretion required. MUST have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.Benefits:
