POSITION SUMMARY:

The Payroll Supervisor, Shared Services is responsible in performing payroll processing, developing various reports by researching and gathering information, statistics, etc. Maintains confidential payroll records, filing payroll tax returns, collecting, organizing and reporting financial information used in audits, budget development and other duties as assigned.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.    Performs payroll calculation on a regular and off-cycles.
2.    Oversees system maintenance and follow-up enhancements of payroll system for both regular and off-cycle processing.
3.    In-charge in checking and monitoring of all separation claims, validates sick and vacation accruals and performs checking and posting of financial accounts.
4.    Handles preparation and checking of payroll tax calculation and filing, monthly and annual tax reporting, including individual tax forms preparation and ensures company compliance to government agencies.
5.    Monitors and ensures all payroll records are being kept in a confidential manner, including employee files, all sorts of government filings and tax returns, payroll reports, and workers’ compensation payments.
6.    Participates in audit situation, internal and external purposes.
7.    Assumes other staff responsibilities in cases of emergency or annual leave.
8.    Performs all assigned duties efficiently, technically correct, follows Company policies, rules and regulations, requests of Superiors, adheres to procedures and achieve a high standard leading to total guest and Company satisfaction.
9.    Attends divisional / departmental meeting and training when requested. Conducts regular staff meetings to keep all associates informed.
10.    Ensures only proper, bona fide employees are entered into the payroll system.
11.    Ensures all policies and procedures are kept up to date, and updated as changes occur.
12.    Train, support and develop team members. 
13.    Performs all assigned duties efficiently, technically correct, follows Company policies,
rules and regulations, requests of Superiors, adheres to procedures and achieve a
high standard leading to total guest and Company satisfaction.

14.    Performs tasks to a very high degree of accuracy.
15.    Ensures that all payroll dates are met.
16.    Ensures all Government and regulatory filings are submitted with no errors.
17.    Performs other/ad-hoc duties that may be assigned by immediate superiors from time to time.


QUALIFICATIONS:

I.    Experience

1.    Must have at least 5 years payroll experience 
1.    Strong knowledge in all government-mandated rulings and has significant experience in dealing with government agencies and regulatory bodies
2.    Has extensive experience in timekeeping procedures and processing
3.    Preferably with gaming/hotel exposure and at handled at least 3,000 to 5,000 employee headcounts

II.    Education

College graduate, University graduate in Business is preferred

III.    Skills / Competencies 

Excellent in MS Advanced Excel
