Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking for a Payroll Supervisor to join our team. This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN

Payroll Supervisor oversees Payroll Processing systemwide. Payroll Supervisor should stay current on Payroll laws and other information related to payroll through reading seminars and other available means. They will work directly with ADP on Payroll Tax Filing and W-2s. Payroll Supervisor will work with ADP on amended tax returns and notices. They will oversee training of new payroll staff members. Payroll Supervisor will work with Workers Comp Team and Workers Comp Insurance Companies on audits. 

Essential Duties:

Support staff with escalated issues; provide back up if staff is out; help identify more efficient processes and procedures.

Work with ADP on Tax Filing; balancing bi-weekly tax deposits; Year-end tax filing; amended returns

Work with workers comp team providing reports; Providing support for audits

Training new staff members who join the team

Stay up to date on new tax laws, setting up new localities and states; entering adjustments as needed into 

Workday

Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required

Associate degree

Five years minimum job-related experience 

In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and procedures.

Hands-on management style, giving much attention to detail.

Proficiency with Excel, Word and payroll related software.
