Description A reputed school district in Vista is eagerly searching for a Payroll Supervisor. Your role will encompass coordinating and supervising the operations of the payroll department ensuring all processes are executed efficiently and rolled out in a timely manner. Responsibilities: + Oversee the daily operations of the payroll functions and staff, providing guidance and training where necessary + Ensure all payroll processes are carried out in a timely and accurate manner, undertaking quality assurance measures + Develop concrete strategies for improving payroll procedures, making use of technology where appropriate + Serve as the point person for any payroll queries, providing clear, concise information to employees + Stay abreast of payroll tax laws and regulations to ensure organization compliance Requirements + Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field + Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in payroll + Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office + Exceptional leadership and communication skills + Payroll Certified Professional (PCP) certification is a plus.
