Payroll Supervisor/Manager
Description We are seeking a Payroll Supervisor/Manager to join our team in the Medical Devices industry, located in New York. This role involves managing payroll processes, ensuring that all payroll related activities are conducted accurately and efficiently. The role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Oversee the processing of payroll for approximately 600 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Manage the resolution of service tickets related to payroll, hours, and other related inquiries. • Oversee tax returns and notices, ensuring they are completed and submitted promptly. • Handle off-cycle payment processes for contractors once a month for the physician network. • Utilize knowledge of payroll systems, such as ADP and Ceridian, to ensure effective payroll management. • Learn and adapt to new payroll systems as necessary, such as TriNet. • Conduct regular audits to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. • Handle administrative tasks related to 401k and RRSP administration. • Ensure accurate record keeping of all payroll activities. • Act as a key point of contact for all payroll related queries, providing excellent customer service and problem-solving skills. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Payroll Supervisor/Manager role within the Medical Devices industry • Proficiency in ADP Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now • Experience with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode • Familiarity with Ceridian and Crystal Reports software • Knowledge of 401k and RRSP Administration • Experience with About Time software • Proficiency in various accounting functions • Experience in auditing and benefit functions • Strong skills in payroll management and administration • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
