Payroll Technician Job Details Level Experienced Job Location North Stonington CT - North Stonington, CT Position Type Full Time Education Level 2 Year Degree Salary Range $24.00 - $28.00 Hourly Travel Percentage None Job Shift Day Job Category Finance Description Position Summary : Coordinate, direct and control payroll preparation, processing, and distribution.  + Process weekly payroll in accounting data bases systems (Paycom and Sage);  + Enter equipment timesheets and timesheet corrections to payroll system;  + Process weekly cash requirements and temp labor entries to payroll system; + Process Project Assignment packages (per diem, rate changes) to payroll system; + Process weekly 401k changes and updating to accounting data bases;  + Assist with certified payroll entries and record keeping; + Assist with other Accounting/Payroll functions; + Assist with coverage of the reception desk on an as needed basis; + Additional duties as directed by management; Qualifications Position Requirements: + Ability to work independently or as part of a team; + Good communication skills;  + Good computer skills; + Excellent organizational skills; + Accuracy and attention to detail; + Ability to observe deadlines; Preferred Skills: + Knowledge and efficiency using Paycom and Sage software;
