The intern will gain practical, hands-on media experience and be mentored by award-winning storytellers, journalists and craftspeople. **About PBS Utah** PBS Utah is Utah’s PBS station, providing the state with access to exceptional content that entertains, informs, and enriches viewers. PBS Utah also provides three additional broadcast channels: WORLD , PBS Kids 24/7, and Create. **Responsibilities** Intern will assist with a variety of pre-production, production, and post-production activities and assist producers with stories for PBS Utah’s YouTube, Instagram and Broadcast channels. The Intern will participate in field productions, live studio productions, and in video and audio post editing. **Minimum Qualifications** Students should be juniors or seniors, although highly experienced individuals of lower class standing may be considered. The student should be available at least through early December and willing to continue in the Spring 2025 semester if invited. **Preferences** Digitally-savvy students experienced with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, non-fiction storytelling techniques, research and database management are strongly preferred. Familiarity with, and a strong interest in, public media is preferred.
