This contract will perform support the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Panama City, FL.
Responsibilities Control Inventories (including making updates for additions and deletions). Manage Asset Inventory process. Responsible for daily tracking/updating of asset inventory. Support for hardware and software maintenance renewals. Develop/update process and procedures for improved efficiency in the deployment of new equipment. Provide input and maintain an Asset Management Plan and Operating Procedure. Knowledge of Asset Management software and/or Inventory-Tracking systems. Knowledge of processes and disposal of unused and/or broken IT equipment. Knowledge of asset management lifecycle practices for Information Technology and operational policies and procedures. Ability to respond rapidly to shifting priorities in organizational requirements, product demands, and purchasing timelines. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.. Qualifications Current CompTIA A+ or higher Certification in accordance with DoD DIR 8570Minimum 5 years' experience in Asset Management/Shipping & Receiving/Inventory ControlUS Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance at the level requried for the role.
