Duties and Responsibilities

Design PCB layouts using PCB Allegro or Altium CAD toolFootprint creation and database management (maintain footprint and component library)3D Creation of PCB Design, and 3D printingWork with engineers to import schematics, establish part placement, and layout strategiesPerform design rule checksGenerate gerber files, PCB and fab documentation, and assembly detailsWork with assembly house to resolve any DFM/DFX issuesBOM Kitting

Requirements

Two (2) years of experience with PCB Allegro Knowledge of IPC StandardsBasic power supply layout, signal integrity knowledgeLayout of PCB’s based on schematic and mechanical informationAbility to collaborate with cross functional teamsAbility to multi task between different designsExcellent communications skillsAbility to work in a team environmentProactive, team player, motivated, self-driven and eager to learnAble to read and understand engineering drawings, components specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM) parts listsAltium PCB layout tool knowledge is a plusThermal/mechanical knowledge is a plus
