What You Will Contribute:
 

Are you looking to start your career in PCB and electrical CAD design? We are looking to train and develop someone early in their Electrical career while they complete their Associate program and beyond.

The Badger Meter Internship Program provides hands-on, real-world experience to students through projects that make a difference! In addition to your projects, you will be given the opportunity to participate in our robust Intern program focused on Badger Meter Culture, professional development, community outreach and a final capstone project.

Badger Meter is hiring a Electrical CAD Design Intern full-time this summer at our Global Headquarters in Milwaukee, WI. The Electrical CAD Design Intern will be responsible for assisting with circuit design, schematic drawings, prototyping, lab instrument understanding, and additional projects, tasks, and/or assignments as needed. The Electrical CAD Design Intern will work heavily in design and assist the Engineering department and participate in a robust training program to develop their electrical ski

Job Duties:

Work directly with electrical engineers and designers to learn industry practices and implement them in daily work.

Creating and/or modifying drawings using ECAD.

Learn proper setup and use of test equipment such as Digital Volt Meters, Oscilloscopes, RF Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers and Network Analyzers.

Organizing test data and presents reports back to the engineering team.

Completing design work independently with supervision for supervisor.

Assisting the electrical engineering department on projects as necessary.

Experience in or willingness to learn Altium.

Education and Experience:

Currently pursing an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering required

No prior experience necessary

Qualifications:

Intermediate Computer/Technical skills in Microsoft products required

Basic proficiency with ECAD Software (Altium, Cadence, DX Designer) preferred
