Responsibilities Layout of printed circuit boards for automotive applications including compilation of related production data for manufacturing partnersCreation of component library data (component symbols, footprints, component parameters)Maintenance of component librariesReview of second source components and maintenance of PCNs/PWDsTechnical documentation e.g. for Application Note or DatasheetsLow and high voltage evaluation of power electronic componentsCollaboration with and support to related automotive and industrial groups like Business Development, Marketing, ASIC Development, Application Engineering, Operations, Quality Department, etc.Required Qualifications Technician or degree in electrical engineering or related fields3 years of experience in layout of printed circuit boards with CAD systems (e.g. Altium Designer)Good knowledge of EMC compliant PCB designKnowledge of international standards (e.g. DIN EN, VDE, IEC, ISO) related to isolation coordinationGood written and oral communications with experience in specification creation, technical report writing and test plans/instructionsGood command of spoken and written EnglishSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimum supervisionLearning capability and willingness to pursue further educationResilient under stress even in tough situationsStrong organizational skillsTeam playerPreferred Basic knowledge of power electronic components (e.g. IGBT, MOSFET, SiC MOSFET, Gate Driver)Experienced in power electronics and design of power electronic components (board level)
