PCB Rework Specialist

DEKA is looking for a PCB Rework Specialist who is a motivated self-starter, requires minimal direction, and works well within multi-disciplinary teams. The individual will be working across several projects and must be able to communicate challenges and priorities effectively. The individual must be able to multi-task while remaining composed and efficient in a rapidly changing engineering environment.
How you will make an impact as a PCB Rework Specialist:
+ Electronic assembly and rework in an R&D environment
+ Utilize specialized tools and equipment, such as soldering stations, microscopes, and multimeters, to perform precise rework tasks
+ Skillfully rework and repair PCBs, including component replacement, solder touch-ups, and board-level modifications
+ Carefully inspect PCBs for defects, such as damaged components, solder issues, and trace discontinuities.
+ Assembly of cable assemblies
+ Maintain a clean rework area and perform set-up/maintenance
Skills you will need to be successful in this role as a PCB Rework Specialist:
+ Must have excellent PCB soldering/rework skills
+ Great written and verbal communication skills
+ Working knowledge of basic electronic components
+ Familiar with CAD tools (Pads, Altium, Solidworks) a plus
+ Able to read and interpret basic electrical schematics and identify a part on PCB from a marked-up Schematic
+ High school diploma
+ Certified solder technician
+ IPC Certification
+ Experience with Microsoft Office
