Responsibilities
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in PCB layout and automated test.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with Cadence Allegro Cad tools (Allegro 17.2 and Orcad Capture).
- Experience with E.M. field solvers, time and frequency domain simulation tools:
Cadence Sigrity, Ansys HFSS and ADS, and Synopsys HSpice.
- Able to do PCB design from Data entry to Output of fabrication files.
- Attends product development and critical kick off meetings for initial product launch.
- Use Teamcenter to research parts and BOM’s.
- Perform QA inspection on final designs for completeness and quality.
- Some travel may be needed for training, off site meetings, or product validation.
- All other related duties as assigned by management.
Basic Qualifications & Skills
- Solid comprehension of electromagnetic and transmission line theory, signal integrity, differential and single-ended interface technologies.
- Clear comprehension of power distribution network design and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with, and fundamental comprehension of lab measurement equipment like Oscilloscopes, TDR, VNA etc
- Execute on S parameter model extraction, channel study, target impedance study, etc.
- Engage with engineers and vendors to comprehend and evaluate PCB materials and stackups.
- Must comprehend PCB schematic and know how to make changes to schematic and layout for SI/PI improvements.
- Experience with the following industry standards: DDR, LPDDR, GDDR, PCIe, UFS, MIPI, etc.
