PCC Data Analyst
POSITION PURPOSE:
Provide data-driven insights on patterns, trends, outliers, and process performance in stability and operational data to support issue detection and to ensure high quality of data in ongoing operational activities. Performing analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data
Collaborate with ITSM process teams, application team and business and conduct cross-functional insight and recommendations.
Contribute to definition and development of new quality, performance, and risk indicators for issue detection, stability and operations and risk-based quality management.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide data-driven insights on patterns, trends, outliers, and process performance in operational data to support issue detection and to ensure proactive and preventive initiatives to avoid major incidents to occurContribute to definition and development of new quality, performance, and risk indicators and data analytics methods and solutions for early detection of operational stability and signals in collaboration with data scientists and data visualization expert. Supports process improvements and development of efficient procedures for Central Data Review and other cross-functional data quality related initiatives Identifying required KPl's and metrics to measure & monitor process effectiveness and efficiency Leveraging defined KPl's and metrics to monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of process and initiate continual service improvement plans to improve identified areas of opportunities As the accountable contact for the Event Management process, is aware of all:Change requests affecting Event Management System (EMS) availabilityIncidents affecting EMS availabilityProblems affecting EMS that still need resolutionEvent Management metrics EMS availability and performance monitoring results and trends Event Management planned service improvement plans Conducts periodic continual improvement discussion/ pattern analysis to review overall operation performance with appropriate stakeholders:Defines and compiles service and operationFacilitates reviews of service improvement opportunitiesCoordinates and monitors service improvement plan (SIP) activitiesEnsure all organizational change management activities are executed including stakeholder analysis, stakeholder alignment and buy-in and training the global user base on execution of the process.Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct code problemsUsing statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets could be helpful for the diagnosis and predictionAnalyzing local, national, and global trends that impact both the organization and the industryPreparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
WHO YOU ARE:
Bachelor's degree in IT, MIS, Business, or other related field 5-10 years experience in IT or business-related role (may include Internship) Excellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of ITSM Platforms such as HP Service Manager, ServiceNow, Remedy, etc. Knowledge of ITIL best practices. Broad technology and application support/architecture experienceExperience in Data Manager, Central Data Reviewer, Study Lead Monitor, Central Monitor, Data Management Programmer or Statistical Analyst or in a similar function related to operational or data analysis, preferably with more than one role assumedGood understanding of and experienced in data analysis, data exploration, data visualization and KPI, KRI, KQI concept in context of operational stability
