What Will You Do?

Hangs (unhangs) parts on paint line carriers according to standard work or proceduresPerforms visual check on all parts to ensure quality standards are metOperates electric or pneumatic hoist to set heavier painted parts on carts in advance of assemblyUses pallet jack or forklift to move parts to storage areasMaintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, regulations, and active participation in all 5S efforts and initiativesPerforms daily inspections of equipment within area of responsibility to insure all equipment is in safe working order Strives to meet all established safety, quality, cost, and productivity standards Continually seeks to improve production methods, equipment performance and overall quality of productAbility to learn a variety of different product linesIdentify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improvedWillingly performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to follow standard work and proceduresGood communication skills (verbal and written)High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not requiredAbility to lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly; 25 pounds frequently; 40 pounds occasionally
