PCI Financial Reporting Analyst

AB-PCI is looking for a professional to join AB-PCI’s Financial Reporting Team which focuses on Performance, Fund Accounting and Investor/Fund Reporting, working in partnership with AB-PCI’s COO, portfolio management / valuation and middle office teams as well as AB’s Financial Control Team (“FC”), business development and product development teams.  This new role will support the growing business and team. AB-PCI has grown significantly over recent years and high caliber talent is needed to help support continued business growth, improve processes and scale operations. The role will provide exposure to all aspects of performance, Fund accounting, and reporting while providing opportunity for growth as the team continues to grow and take on more responsibilities.  Responsibilities of the team include, but are not limited to, the following:

What You'll Do:

Review and approval of monthly Fund financials and reporting from TPAs, in partnership with FC including income, fee and expense calculations, investor distributions, and expense payments

Assisting AB’s FC with quarterly / annual financial reporting and audits

Monitor key performance indicators such as IRR, cash flow metrics, yield, and NAV movements

Near-term revenue and return forecasts for management and investors, including commentary and drivers as well as actual revenue and returns analysis for management and investors, including any explanation of deviation from forecasts / estimates

Assisting AB’s Business Development team with Fund and investor reporting

Drive projects for automation and process improvements as relates to Fund investor reporting, PnL explain and forecasting, performance reporting, amongst others

What We're Looking For:

Finance or Accounting experience is required

Proven experience with PowerBI, sigma or other data visualization and reporting tool

Experience with SQL or Python for data analysis and automation is a plus

Experience in the middle market loan / private alternatives industry preferable

Microsoft Office application proficiency (advanced Excel skills a plus)

Ability to effectively prioritize to work and adapt in a fast and challenging environment where priorities can change daily

Team oriented – works collaboratively with teammates and other AB teams, exhibiting a one firm mindset

Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills

High attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy and responsiveness
