Broadcom China Datacenter FAE (SH/BJ/SZ) – PCIe/CXL Retimer

Job Description

The Field Application Engineer (FAE) will be responsible for technical support of Broadcom’s PCIe/CXL retimer products within webcloud and OEM customers in China region. This FAE role will need to clearly understand customer requirement, identify business opportunities with account sales, propose Broadcom solutions to win the design, provide hands-on technical support to help customer to resolve design or production issues, and ensure the customer’s satisfactory on Broadcom solutions to drive and grow the overall Broadcom business revenue.  Other than to lead the direct technical support for customers, this FAE role also needs to collect data and information from customers on their future needs and planning, to help product team to implement into product roadmap with the right strategy.

Requirements

Hands-on and expertized knowledge of high-speed protocols like PCIe/EthernetA strong background in high-speed board design techniques.Good experience with lab equipment including traffic generators, protocol analyzers, and high-speed oscilloscopes Good understanding of Data center systems e.g servers, JBOGs/JBOFs/JBODs, networking switches, etc.A good plus to have good knowledge in Python for automating validation and testsA good plus to have background in rack level design, networking, AI infrastructure, etcStrong leadership skill to drive both internal and external to make things happenCustomer-oriented, Goal-driven, and Self-motivated person with passion for successBe able to travel frequently to provide on-site support to customers  Strong English communication skills both in written and verbalBachelor or above in Computer Science or EE7+ years working experience3+ years working experience in global company is preferred
