The Job:
The PCM Technology Specialist - Creates the vehicle to tailor product information for each market by developing country-specific product lists and configuring PIM channels so platforms receive the correct data, attributes, and media specifically fine-tuned for their needs. Will also track digital shelf performance—monitoring visibility, rankings, and content quality—to spot opportunities and improve product presentation, boosting customer experience, engagement, and sales.
Syndication is responsible for identifying business needs and determining solutions while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction, innovation, relationship building, change management and driving positive results. Working in an agile, data-driven environment, the person in this role must be able to see the big picture and deliver on project milestones.Successfully manage projects to achieve all quality, performance, schedule and cost objectives in a cross-functional environment. Work with product owners, brand and marketing managers to create appropriate data models to publish our products catalog via syndication platforms, data pools, and portals.Responsible for the constant evolution and maintenance of the PIM technology ecosystem channel catalogs, integrations and connections.Serve as key PCM IT representative for brand and e-commerce stakeholders and projects.Monitor day-to-day activities to maintain the health of the Salsify PIM platform and downstream systems.Collaborate with Digital Experience Team (DEX) teams and channel managers to fine-tune processes and workflows necessary to deliver on program goals.Help set KPIs, metrics, and identify other means of measuring and reporting on performance and impact of syndication program.Work with PIM vendor partner on syndication program, escalate issues, prioritize requests, and represent stakeholders’ interests.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.Execute global translation workflow operations through design-development-launch, including follow-up with teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of translated content.Engage closely and collaboratively with IT and business to shape product roadmaps and execution schedules.Troubleshoot and resolve any coding issues present in import/export functions, workflows, channels, or other global data management needs.Broker consensus among stakeholders with conflicting needs.Actively take ownership of work, fostering a proactive approach to developing solutions, asking for clarification, and working iteratively.The Person:

Extensive experience with product information syndication workflows.Deep understanding of PIM or MDM systems and concepts (Salsify Product Information Management system required).Extensive knowledge of the product lifecycle, distribution/publishing practices, and brand monitoring.Knowledge of e-commerce information exchange standards, data pools, and networks (GS1, GDSN)Proven track record of managing cross-platform digital projects with distributed stakeholders.Strong background in JavaScript coding to support content transformation and reuse.Analytical/problem solving skills. Excellent Excel skills.Strong knowledge of all phases of digital development from concept to information architecture to design, development and QA.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Excellent presentation, visual, and communications skills.Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills.EDUCATION &/or EXPERIENCE
Undergraduate degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience in product information, e-commerce, or syndication platforms.Over 2 years of direct responsibility for product information and content lifecycle management.The Details:

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is 87,900.00 - 158,200.00 USD AnnualUSD Annual Annually. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
